1st interview experience:
/>
Hey, I gave my Wipro National Talent Hunt -2020 in October-2019. I was fortunate enough to clear the online assessment round and got a call for an interview soon. The interview was in 2 phases,
Technical round
HR round
During my technical round, the Interviewer asked me about basic concepts of networks, different topologies in networks, network protocols, and Operating systems since I was from a CS background. He was very polite and spoke openly as a friend. I was informed that I have been selected for the HR round.
During my HR round, the interviewer asked me about current affairs and the topic on which I had written my Essay during the Online assessment. Then he asked me if I had any problems in relocating to another city and told me that there would be a service agreement of 1 year. Before I left the room he informed me that further process would be communicated to me by the concerned campus hiring team.
After 3 to 4 weeks of my interview, I recently received a mail from Wipro confirming that I have cleared my interview and offered the Letter Of Intent.

2nd interview experience:
/>
70 Questions and 70 minutes of time
To qualify you have to do the technical section good for CSE and also you have to get the logical part at least 50% correct in my case to qualify for the FTF interview. In our case, around 100 gave the test and around 25 were shortlisted for the interview process. So make sure you do well in all the 3 sections of round 1.
Round 2: Technical Interview face to face
Normal introduction questions and followed by projects mentioned in your resume and sorting algorithms and asked me to code for quicksort algorithm.
Be nice to your interviewer and explain to him nicely and clearly and if you don't know something say to him kindly that you don't know and don't try to throw a stone as if you know :P.
Round 3: HR Round
1. Family background.
2. Who is your role model and why?
3. What are your aspirations and what do you wanna become in the future?
and then things mentioned on your resumes like hobbies and interests and extracurricular activities. And then asked if I am ready to relocate and stuff like that.
Finally, I was offered the job.
3rd interview experience:
Wipro Interview Experience | Set 5 (On-Campus)
The process was as below-
1. First there was an online test. The test was pretty simple, it was divided into several parts. There were questions related to aptitude, English, and logical reasoning. Apart from that, there were questions related to cs fundamentals like OS, DBMS, and Networking.
In the end, there was a coding question, which was of basic level. (I have to write only three lines of code.)
/>
After this test about 120 students were shortlisted out of 700(In these 120 only 30 would remain when company visits in December.)
2. There were two interviews one technical was HR.
Technical interview was on the phone the questions were
-Tell me something about yourself.
-Explain your projects all of them. (He was interested in one of my projects which was based on the Internet of things and started asking a question about it)
-what is the internet of things?
-what is cloud computing?
-which is your language of choice? (I told him it was java and this was one of my strengths because they want Java coders)
-what is the one basic difference between java and all the other languages? (told him that java was platform independent)
-what do you mean by platform-independent? (told him about JVM)
-what is JVM?
didn't ask about any extracurricular activities, they are not interested really
HR interview was face to face it was about 3 in the morning and the HR was not in a good mood I was a bit skeptical about this
-Tell me about yourself.
-what do know about Wipro.
-are you a team player? (well everybody is)
-what is your greatest strength? Explain with your real-life example.
-what is your weakness? Explain with your real example?
-how will you work under pressure when you have a lot of dependencies?
-who is your greatest motivation? (told him that it was my dad)
-how will your dad feel when this morning you will call him and tell him that you were not selected in Wipro. (Now note that if they are not willing to hire you they will never ask these sorts of questions, these are just asked to check if you buckle under pressure, and it means you are on right track)
-why do you want to join Wipro? (told him that because it is an Indian multinational it will give me a sense of pride)
-so why Wipro, why not Infosys it is also Indian. (told him clearly that Infosys did not come for placement)
-so tomorrow if IBM buys Wipro then you will leave us? (told him no because the work culture and other things will be Indian blah blah..)
-OK. very well, you may go now.
In the end, I was selected with 14 other students(from 30 odd students). A couple of things that I will like to add in the end
-Never write anything in your resume that you do not know or you are not in touch with at the present. In my case for example I knew SQL and C++ but was not in good touch with them so I just removed them. Fewer things in a resume do not mean you will not be selected.
-Never buckle under pressure and always be polite because people do get kicked out of the HR round and it is the worst thing ever.
-And lastly prepare every HR question beforehand and be prepared for the unexpected ones.
